Welcome to the Turtle Shell Key Westl! This will be our 3rd big property upgrade - and we think we are beginning to perfect our vibe! This 2 bed/ 2 bath apartment comes complete with 2 full-size bathrooms, 2 queen bedrooms, smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. Absolutely perfect location for a couple's getaway - PLUS DOG FRIENDLY! Walking distant to "downtown" Surf City, and steps away to the beach!

The Property: The Key West property features 7 studios & one 2-bedroom apartment with a full-size kitchen. The units are laid out side-by-side (No worries about hearing any footsteps above you!) Each unit has its own porch with privacy walls on each side!

Not only is the property stylish, but it is also dog friendly! The dog waste container with doggy bags is on the right side of the building. There is an outdoor shower area located in the middle and hose off on the right side of the building. We also have a first come - first serve beach box for beach toys! A public beach access is only a short walk from the property, along with MANY restaurants, shops and entertainment! We have a list of "Our Favorite" places printed out inside. (You can always ask us through Airbnb messenger, we are locals and love giving out recommendations!)

Key West #8 (Your Apartment): 2 queen bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances! You also have a full private porch, with a table and chairs. Perfect to enjoy an outdoor family dinner.

We supply: K-cups, sugar, creamer packets, travel size shower soap set in both bathrooms, sound machines, starter paper towels and toilet paper, bed sheets, and a set of towels per bed.

Towel sets include: 2 towels, 2 wash clothes, and 2 hand towels.
**We do suggest you bring extras if you plan on staying longer than a few days** Since we use a local linen company, if you request extras there will be an added charge.

There is not a dishwasher, or a washer/dryer set in the apartment. Please be aware when planning what to pack. Bring extra towels for extended trips!

Pets: We allow 2 pups max (only dogs, sorry!!) under 50 lbs. The space is not big enough to allow anything larger. We only have these restrictions so you will be comfortable!
** Dog crates are $40 to rent! Please let us know before you arrive so we can add the fee onto your reservation.

Please include your pups into your guest count. There is a $100 fee for up to 2 pups max!

You will have private access to your apartment and your private porch! The grill area, beach box and pup area are shared with the other guests staying at Key West. Please be kind and leave each shared space clean and tidy!

Surf City is one of North Carolinas best kept secrets! A small-town feel, with a large group of welcoming locals! One of the best parts of this quaint beach town is it is still non-commercialized, and they plan on keeping it that way! Once you come visit Surf City you will not want to go anywhere else!

Turtle Shell Key West is in one of the best locations in Surf City. Most importantly, a public beach access is only one street over! Not only is it close to the beach, but you are also less than a 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants and entertainment! Park your car and you may not have to get back in it until you are headed back home! We also have a few first come - first serve beach cruisers available!

Cancellation Policy: Seventy-five percent (75.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
